1. Surveyor in district office
- Lease measurement and inspection.
- Boundary pillar inspection.
- Checking of overlapping of Lease and permit.
- Lease inspection with D.I.L.R. for newly granted lease.
- Major and Minor mineral block preparation.
- Composite map preparation and updation.
- Quantity estimation of minerals mined or stored.
2. Surveyor in flying squad
- Lease measurement and inspection.
- Boundary pillar inspection.
- Illegal mining or transportation complain inspection.
- Storage inspection.
- Quantity estimation of minerals mined or stored.
3. Surveyor in mineral exploration circle
- Surveying, mapping, contouring, levelling, tachometry survey, triangulation and plotting.
- Map preparation.
